One of the things we must remember is that we have an adversary, who is out to kill, steal and destroy (See John 10:10) but God desires that we come into the full (i.e. His fulness). So if you’re tempted to dismiss God’s discipline in your life or sink into discouragement or despair, lay out of this precious promise and hold on!
This is the key to going through with Jesus, regardless of the circumstances. It’s important to key our eyes upon Jesus as well, when strong discipline comes into our lives. I speak this to you as one who has to learn this the hard way!
