When God Hides His Face
One of God's ways is to sometimes hides His face from us. Find out more as you listen to brother Ed explain.
Scripture Used During Today’s Video: Hebrews 13:5
One of the things I failed to say during the video, is that our God is always purposeful in all that He does. Our struggle is that we oftentimes don’t understand His ways, as His ways are always higher than our ways. When God goes silent, we don’t always know what happened and His silence is a call to seek Him more deeply. Rather than being abandoned, it’s a call to a deeper intimacy with the Lord.
I also didn’t speak of the enemy’s lies which comes when God’s presence is withdrawn. It’s a serious attack to get you to side with the devil and his minions, that God is unfaithful. Don’t believe the lies but trust the Lord and if He uncovers sin, quickly repent and allow those roots of trust to go deeper in your soul. If you’ve believed the lies, quickly repent and ask (i.e. cry out to) the Lord to rescue you. Jesus will rescue you dear one!
Here’s a song from a dear brother in Australia, Steve Grace that fits in with today’s message:
